Conor meyler

Conor is a qualified teacher and current PhD candidate in TUS, undergoing research in Gender and Leadership in Sport with a focus on The integration of Gaelic Games. Conor is passionate about all things education, leadership, culture and high performance in sport. Conor holds a MA in Education from UCD and a Certificate in Professional Leadership from Maynooth University.  

A current member of the Tyrone GAA Senior Football team, now in his 9th season, he is an All Ireland winning footballer with Tyrone and a 2021 GAA/GPA All-Star. Conor is a former Sigerson Cup winning Captain with his college St Mary's University Belfast and has won a number of titles and accolades with his club, Omagh St Enda's and his county, Tyrone. 

Conor wants to use his social platforms as a way of educating people about the life of an elite sportsperson, training insights and tips as well as his current research on gender equality and leadership in sport and society. Conor has used his voice publicly in interviews, news articles and podcasts to talk about the importance of mental health in performance and life, being authentic and more recently gender equality.
